Modern Materiel is a small firearms manufacturer that offers its customers a place to explore the firearms industry from several different perspectives. First, Modern Materiel is focused on the production of semi-automatic modern sporting rifles. Our product line is the multi-state compliant answer for anyone looking for a hand-built, high performance budget minded rifle. We are passionate about our rifles and the accessories that go on them so please check them out at one of our DEALERS or call us to arrange a range demo!
Next, Modern Materiel is committed to helping our customers personalize their MODMAT’s and set them up with quality components and accessories. We are NOT a gun store and don’t have a traditional showroom, but our knowledge and expertise can be found online in the MM PROSHOP. Our PROSHOP has established relationships with leaders in the industry so we only stock the best products and “kit” for you and your MODMAT.
Finally, Modern Materiel is a law enforcement solutions provider. Our unique relationships with training partners, equipment manufacturers and our PATROL line of MODMAT rifles makes Modern Materiel a one stop shop for law enforcement agencies around the country.

The Modern Materiel TeaMM has been hard at work crafting and refining our already super reliable MODMAT PATROL. As a small company, MODERN MATERIEL is able to listen to our customer’s requests and seek the advice of seasoned professionals when designing a new rifle. The new Gen4 MODMAT PATROL RIFLE is the culmination of all the feedback acquired from many hours of work and thousands of rounds put downrange by our TeaMM Pros. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the Gen4 project including our newest suppliers; B5 Systems, Slate Black Industries and Radian Weapons.
