MODERN MATERIEL is proud to offer our mil-spec+ MMR-15 lower receivers to those looking for a high quality, beautifully finished lower receiver on which to build a dream rifle.  Experience gained from a decade of manufacturing the PATROL rifle was incorporated into this stripped lower and will ensure satisfaction.

The process:

• These lowers were born (forged) in Weyers Cave, VA by Cerro Fabricated Products using extruded ingots of aerospace standardized 7075-T6 aluminum.
• They are CNC machined by MM to our “mil-spec+” standards, tumbled and hand deburred by our dedicated team.
• The receiver is prepared using a proprietary blast/etch process and then hardcoat anodized to mil-spec Type III specifications.

The results:

• Unmatched aesthetics and flawless surface finish.
• MM designed finger grooves on front of mag well provides additional grip.
• Accepts all correctly made mil-spec upper receivers.  (usually with less wiggle)
• Unique machine work designed to work with current generation polymer magazines. (Including the MAGPUL Gen 3 with overtravel stop.)
• Works with standard AR15 components.  No propriety lower parts required.
• Marked as “multi” caliber for build flexibility.
